Financial education in school

The ADVENTUM Foundation also on the occasion of Financial Education Month carried out the project “HERE I COMMAND: Is money in charge of you or are you in charge of them?

The initiative aimed to make students more aware of the expenses they incur during the month, either by using their pocket money or by drawing directly from their parents’ wallets, through the construction of a “financial diary.”

In fact, they were not given a diary on which students could record their various expenses, but the structure of the diary was constructed with the students themselves in the classroom. The pilot project was carried out over 3 appointments that took place fortnightly during the month of October 2019 at 2 classes of the Piaget-Diaz Institute in Rome.

The course concluded with the recording of several radio commercials on the topic of responsible use of money made by the students, which were aired on RVS Radio as part of the Oct. 31 episode of Down with Financial Rudeness.
